P & M Time!

I just found out interesting facts in Hawaiian Studies. During Hawaiian studies, Kupuna Marrow's daughter, Ms. Malia taught us a quick lesson about Monochromic people and Polychromic people. According to Ms. Malia, It can also be called M time and P time for short. I thought that this lesson was interesting because I have never learned that or even heard of that before. But it is extremely important to know if you are a type of person that explores the world or experience different cultures.

Fist of all, A Monochromic person has an oriented schedule, and they focus on one thing at a time. For example, one day, your new boss invites you to a meeting and he really needs to talk to you because he will announce something extremely important to his workers. The meeting is at 10:00 am. So a Monochromic may write his or her schedule on a piece of paper or on their calendar so they can remember to be there on time. Today is your meeting--you get there on time by sacrificing your vacation to the spa with your BFF This was an example of a monochromic life.

Secondly, a Polychromic person has an oriented relationship. He or she is not rigid with schedules, focuses on socializing, and multiple people are involved. For example, let's say that you had a doctor's appointment at a certain time and before you get there, you see your best friend and you decide to talk about school even though you are late. You are just talking and talking knowing that you are late. Then, after you finished talking, the appointment has automatically been canceled. This is a polychromic lifestyle.

I think that I am both monochromic and polychromic because, I sometimes stay with the schedule and I sometimes just focus on socializing.

In conclusion, again, a monochromic person works with the time, and a polychromic person works with relationships.
